    The Origin

    Why I Built This

My work as an internist, hospitalist, and physician executive showed me how documentation, payer requirements, and operational decisions affect both patient care and financial performance.

Healthcare teams need practical support that understands clinical care, operating constraints, and the evidence behind a decision.

That is the foundation of ClinEfficiency Pro: identify the problem, quantify its impact, and help the people responsible act.

"If physicians do not lead the AI transformation, then AI will be procured, deployed, and governed by health systems, vendors, and technology companies without adequate clinical stewardship. The decisions will still be made. The workflows will still change. Physicians will simply arrive after the architecture is already built."

    — Augusta Uwah, MD, MPH

Technology can support this work, but it is not the starting point. Recommendations follow the findings, with human oversight and clear accountability.

I built ClinEfficiency Pro to bring clinical, financial, and operational perspectives together. Each engagement starts with a defined question and a practical plan, not a software pitch.

Clinical training in internal medicine, executive education at the Yale School of Management, and advanced AI implementation training inform this approach: protect clinical judgment while improving how the organization works.

    The Work

    Beyond Consulting

Alongside consulting, I develop tools that support clinical review, visit preparation, policy interpretation, and responsible governance. They serve the work rather than define the engagement.

I also pursue community education, bringing AI literacy to institutions and communities that need it most — because the conversation about AI in healthcare cannot stay inside hospital boardrooms.

    What I Build

    Three Expressions
    of the Same Mission

    Consulting Practice

    Clinefficiency Pro

Physician-founded consulting for healthcare revenue, operations, and compliance. Scoped diagnostics, focused improvements, and ongoing advisory grounded in your organization’s needs.

    Clinical Tool

    VisitPrepAI

An AI-powered visit preparation tool designed for both patients and providers. Helping patients arrive informed and providers arrive prepared — closing the gap that costs clinics time and patients clarity.

    Clinical Review Intelligence

    CLIP by Clinefficiency Pro

A clinical review intelligence layer that connects clinical evidence, documentation, and medical-necessity reasoning to support more consistent, defensible Physician Advisor decisions. Designed to support multiple deployment postures, including de-identified evaluation and hospital-controlled inference.

    My Philosophy

    How I Approach
    Healthcare Improvement

Start with the problem, use the evidence, and keep the people responsible for care and operations in control.

I work from a set of principles that shape every engagement, every tool I build, and every recommendation I make.

    • 01
Physician governance is non-negotiableAI in clinical settings must have physician oversight built in — not bolted on after deployment.
    • 02
Adoption requires change managementThe best tool fails without staff buy-in, training, and clear escalation paths. I design for humans, not just workflows.
    • 03
ROI and ethics are not in conflictMeasurable operational results and responsible AI governance belong in the same conversation.
    • 04
Augmentation, not substitutionAI should give physicians more time for the work only they can do — not replace the judgment that makes medicine medicine.
    The Stakes
    45%
of physicians report burnout symptomsAMA 2023 national data — driven primarily by administrative burden, not clinical complexity.
    35%
of physicians own their practiceDown from 53% in 2012. Physician ownership — and influence — is in structural decline.
    66%
of physicians now use at least one AI toolUp from 38% in 2023. Adoption is accelerating — governance must keep pace.
    67%
say physician oversight of AI is importantAMA 2025 AI sentiment report. Physicians want to lead — they need the infrastructure to do it.
    86K
physician shortage projected by 2036AI arriving into a strained system — which means it will become infrastructure, not a side experiment.
